AMD Confirms Radeon 9000 Series Will Launch in March
The confirmation came today via a tweet from AMD's Vice President, setting March as the launch window for the 9000 series GPUs.

At CES 2025, AMD unveiled its highly anticipated Radeon RX 9000 series, including the Radeon RX 9070 and Radeon RX 9070 XT. These RDNA 4-based GPUs are designed for the midrange gaming market and feature improvements in graphics performance, AI capabilities, and ray tracing, according to AMD’s presentation. However, while the CES showcase provided an in-depth look at the GPUs’ architecture, no release date was announced at the time.
Today, AMD’s Vice President and General Manager of Ryzen CPU & Radeon Graphics, David McAfee, confirmed in a tweet that the Radeon 9000 series will officially launch in March 2025. McAfee stated that both the hardware and software for the series are “looking great” and promised a wide range of cards available globally when they become available.
The confirmation of a March release date provides clarity for those anticipating AMD’s next-generation GPUs. Stay tuned to PC Gaming Network for updates as more information about the Radeon 9000 series, including pricing and specifications, becomes available.
